Radbrook’s New Safeguarding Squad!
We are delighted to introduce our Safeguarding Squad, a group of dedicated pupils who will play an important role in helping us keep Radbrook Primary School a safe, respectful, and inclusive place for everyone.
This year’s squad members are: Rudaba, Louis, Lydia, Hugo, Anna, and Joel. We are incredibly proud of each of them for taking on this responsibility.
Purpose of the Role
Our Safeguarding Squad represents pupil voice on all matters relating to safety and wellbeing. They will work alongside staff to make sure every child feels safe, heard and supported in school.
Key Responsibilities
- Attending regular safeguarding board meetings
- Sharing ideas and feedback on how to improve safety and well-being across school
- Helping to raise awareness of safeguarding issues among their peers
- Contributing to school policies and whole-school safeguarding campaigns
- Maintaining confidentiality and showing respect for others at all times
- Reporting concerns appropriately to trusted adults or the DSL
