Radbrook Early Years
Welcome to our new Pre-School which opened September 2024
Classes
We have two classes in EYFS. Our Reception class is called Bumblebees and our combined Pre-School and Reception class is called Dragonflies.
Arrival & Collection
All children are expected to arrive on site between 8:45 am and 8:50 am, ready to register at 8:50 am.
Morning sessions finish at 12:00 pm if your child is staying for lunch, or 11:30 am if they are not.
Afternoon sessions run from 1:00 pm until 3:15 pm.
Arrival
Children enter their classrooms independently via their classroom side doors. Mrs Otterson, Miss Donnelly and Mrs Davies will be outside to greet the children each morning.
Collection
Please wait outside the EYFS building on the top playground. We have clear and robust collection arrangements in place to ensure all children are collected safely.
EYFS Children Collection Arrangements
We require a person with parental responsibility to collect their child, or to inform us each time a different person will be collecting.
For regular childcare arrangements, families can provide details of who will collect their child each day using a proforma, which staff will refer to when releasing children.
For any other collection arrangement (where parents are not collecting), we ask that parents inform us each day either by speaking to the adult on the door in the morning, or by calling the school office.
We will not release children without parental permission, even if staff and children recognise the adult collecting. We kindly ask parents to explain this procedure to family members so they understand they may need to wait briefly while we confirm arrangements.
PE & Woodland Work Days
Any changes to these days will be shared with you via Class Dojo.
